Glyn Sadd is our PGA Class A Professional
He adds a professional dimension to the Club, understanding the history and tradition of the game and the culture of our golf club – as we begin our first year of being member run.
Glyn turned ‘pro’ at 18 years old, competing in many professional tournaments on the PGA Mastercard Tour and played twice in the final qualifying of the British Open.
Glynn has been Arscott’s Golf Professional since 2005, and is responsible for:
– Teaching – so you can book lessons with him directly
– Running of our Pro-Shop
– Offering expert opinion and advice to the Men’s Committee.
– Keeping up to date with golf rules and rulings to ensure all of our Members have the advice and support they need.
Glynn still plays but mainly sociably with club members. He is often accompanied by his son Owen, the Captain of our successful Junior section, and County Player who has a handicap of 12 at only 14 years old! Jealous? Us? Never!
