A Guide for Players
We like to keep things relaxed at Arscott but still looking sharp both on and off the course. Just aim for smart casual, and you’ll fit right in while keeping golf’s classic traditions alive.
✅ Acceptable Attire:
- Collared Shirts – Polo shirts are the standard for both men and women.
- Tailored Trousers or Shorts – Well-fitted trousers or knee-length shorts are preferred. Jeans and athletic shorts are prohibited.
- Golf Shoes – Soft spike or spikeless golf shoes are required to protect the greens.
- Sweaters and Jackets – Ideal for layering in cooler weather, ensuring comfort while maintaining a smart appearance.
🚫 Avoid These Items:
- Denim – We do not allow jeans on the course.
- T-Shirts and Tank Tops – These are not permitted.
- Sportswear – Gym shorts, sweatpants, and tracksuits are not permitted.
- Flip-Flops or Non-Golf Footwear – Proper golf shoes or athletic shoes are required for safety and course protection.
Women’s Golf Attire
Women are expected to follow similar guidelines but may have additional options such as sleeveless polo shirts, skorts, and tailored dresses designed for golfing.
